To be fair, there is probably a lot of stuff that gets thrown on stage during a typical Justin Bieber's show. Homemade drawings, flowers, photos, crumpled pieces of paper with phone numbers or Twitter handles scrawled on them, various undergarments and, perhaps, the occasional national flag For turkey, you can cut the wings off and lay them in the bottom of the pan as well. There's very little meat in them, are often the last choice for diners, and tend to dry quickly even if tied close to the breast. So hack them off and lay them in the bottom of the pan with your onion, carrot and celery, and the giblets. Add in a bay leaf, a little tomato paste for color, and the stock you get will be full, rich and make great gravy. Don't use more than one carrot for a turkey as the flavour can overwhelm the gravy, I don't think that's an issue for roast. Goddamn I'm hungry now. |
